Your assumptions about the typographical convention were right, and the things 
I misspelled were just misspelled here, they are fine in the files.

Well, if my memory works fine, the output was, something about the card and 
then Conection script failed.

The touch command I run it because it says to in here

On the other hand: according to what you say, I'll try removing the file 
options.sppptun and I'll read the man pages of pppoec, just hope it isn't too 
complex because it will overwhelm me. Thanks for the help.

One last thing: isn't there a way to make the command pppd debug updetach call 
myIsp more verbose like?, I tried to activate the logging by modifying the 
syslog.conf file as it says in some of the sun documentation but didn't work 
for me.
