The first time I heard about VirtualBox was about a year or so ago when I
attended a Linux activity in Taiwan. Everyone was talking about VirtualBox,
and how much better it is over VMWare.

Knowing the Linux community's propensity to talk up certain things, I didn't
take their words seriously--until I tried it myself. Running Windows XP in
SuSE gives a noticeably more "natural" feeling under VirtualBox than under
VMWare Player. Perhaps VMWare workstation may be better or at least as good.
But since I run Windows only very occasionally, if at all, it is very difficult
to justify spending the $198 per machine for the VMWare workstation.
