I currently maintain the QEMU port for the OpenSolaris project, and have also
been dabbling in Wine for 6 or 7 months. I monitor the Wine-devel list and
test the builds after a release or two. I've been talking to a few other folks
off
line about wine, and know that there are several other folks (Bob Lunnon who
maintained a wine port for many years, and whoever is maintaining SFE wine
specfile).

The current wine-users list can be a bit daunting since it's almost all
other OS's, and there are specific bugs that appear to be cropping up
in the Solaris build that aren't being seen on other OS's. I'm wondering
if we had our own community and mailing list, that we could effectively
work on Solaris bugs in Wine.

I'm willing to support a community if the rest of the community thinks
there is value in a Open Solaris Wine community.

Thoughts?
