Lu, Since you have only 2GB of storage space let me suggest two things: 1. You might want to try to use scripts from livemedia: http://opensolaris.org/os/project/livemedia/ Those scripts prepares *.iso to put on the DVD and also can install Solaris onto usb stick. A little modification will give your own set of packages, which is compressed, which will definatelly fit on the 2GB storage. 2. Compressed ZFS filesystem.
