Now that's an interesing idea. Implement a Solaris driver that automatically utilizes the GPU for calculations. NVidia, if my memory serves me correctly, developed a compiler that specifically targets the GPU on their graphics accelerators. But did any of these companies actually release the specs on how to program their GPUs directly?
