I've never understood why people would *want* external PSUs; there a thing and then a cable and then another thing and yet another cable. So rather than one ugly thing you have two. But perhaps we can compromise: the clip-on power supply; you can either clip it on and it looks like a single (somewhat bigger) ugly thing or you pick your choice of two ugly things.
