If I read "The free software community", I am remided that the communists in East-Berlin did call East-Berlin the "free and democratic Berlin"... The people around the GPL (let me call them this way) don't like the CDDL because the CDDL is a strong license and because you cannot put a GPL header on front of the CDDL header as it is done frequently with GPLd software. Note that it took me nearly a week in order to verify that I may remove such an unfriendly act from ~ 300 lines of code in 4 files used by cdda2wav when I was going to change the license from GPL to CDDL. What we need is to fight against untrue claims about the CDDL in a way that many people will find out how many we are....
