Is this using xorg or xsun? configuration using kdmconfig? (or should I edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf? - Confusingly, it's labeled as /etc/X11/.xorf.conf???) I would presume this is using xsun? I've tried a few different permutation but could get the Resolution any higher than 1024x768. (and some of these have 256 colors only) There are also a few different VESA drivers.
