Hi, guys ...
Ok, we're in the Google Summer of Code. Thanks so much for all the
excellent project ideas, and thanks to Simon Phipps for initiating the
process to get us involved.
I'll serve as the program administrator for OpenSolaris. I'm swapping
mail with Google about next steps. I understand that we'll have a
certain number of slots for our projects, but I don't know the number we
have yet. So I'd encourage you to keep putting your project ideas on the
wiki http://www.genunix.org/wiki/index.php/Summer_of_Code so we can see
what we have to work with. If we have more projects than slots, we'll
come up with a process to discuss and vote.
More info as soon as I get it.
