This is one of those great achievements I like seeing within the community when even Sun engineers are whipping out the latest UNIX desktop environments for Solaris users to enjoy. Only thing to note, the latest JDS (GNOME 2.14) 'requires' Solaris NV_34 and higher in order for the install scripts to work without modification. So, either upgrade or install a fresh copy of the newest version of Solaris Express Community Release (b34 or higher as of today) to enjoy GNOME 2.14.
