It's a serious issue that [b]must[/b] be addressed. I don't know the best way to get the proper BIOS other than to contact Tyan and ask if they have a BIOS for your machine that fixes AMD Erratum #131.
It's not a matter of the machine not seeing the CPUs or of the machine not booting, but rather of incorrect operation (specifically a system deadlock), especially under heavy loads. Note that I can't guarantee the beta BIOS update will have this fix; you really need to contact Tyan about it.
