Sorry it's take a while for me to look at this but I not some apparent omissions...
5.1 The 4th arg to dls_create() always used to be the VLAN id. Is it still? Aside: The matter of VLAN creation in general... Why has the ability to create/destroy VLANs from the dladm cmd line been dropped? The 'PPA hack' was universally acknowdledged to be a bad plan(TM) and Nemo was supposed to fix that by offering a configuration interface. Moreover, when I actually tried to use link aggregation yesterday I could find no way to unplumb my single bge0 interface and add to an aggregation without first rebooting since the 'dladm delete-link' interface seems to have been vaped. Also, I noticed that when I did finally set up an aggregation I got several 'X is trying to use our IP address' warnings when I brought the interface up in IP (this was an snv_34 installation btw.) but I guess that's a straightforward bug. 3.7 mi_poll seems to be undocumented. I also think some more explanation of the receive algorithm should be included as it is quite involved and it may not be obvious from the code what is going on since the use of function pointers obscures the call chain.
