Here is an update on OpenSolaris for the month of February: http://opensolaris.org/os/project/content/newsletter/feb06/

We are accepting contributions for the March newsletter, please send
them to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I'd like to include some new sections in the March issue of the newsletter:

* A "Community & Project Highlights" section, where one group gets some space to talk about any important development in their area for that month.

* An "Anecdote of the Month" section, where a community member tells a brief personal story about some issue or experience he/she has had recently with OpenSolaris.

* A "Conferences" section, where community members describe experiences they've had traveling to various open source events around the world. Perhaps this could be user group meetings as well.

I definitely see where you're coming from -- the more the newsletter is truly generated by the community, the better. I hope people who experiences to share aren't too humble to volunteer. Of course with that in mind, I suppose people in general should feel free to "nominate" situations (interesting posts/threads, anecdotes, project developments, etc.) that they think would make for good content for these sections too(?) There's certainly no lack of them, that's for sure.

Eric

If anyone would like to contribute to any of these areas, give us a shout. Or if you'd like to suggest other areas, please feel free.

Jim
