Making a formal proposal for an Installation and Packaging community has
been on my to-do list for a while now, I've been somewhat stalling on
doing it because the Solaris pkg code wasn't ready to release and it
seemed somewhat odd to have an open-source community without source ;-)
But the code is getting closer to release, and there's certainly plenty
to talk about without it, as the general topic has accounted for a
significant percentage of the traffic on opensolaris-discuss. So
perhaps it's time to make the proposal - anyone interested in helping
draft it or being a community lead, please let me know.
