It's not hard to put mediawiki on a server to have your own installation. Then the stylesheets can be customized, etc. mediawiki works fine on Debian Linux. Don't know how well it flies on Solaris, but there should be no problem. (it's Apache MySQL, Php) Also, wikicities will serve advertising, something which you may not want.
