Hi Anup, I think setting up this Naming Services Community is a really excellent idea. Naming Services is such a key and important core technology and with the ever increasing demand for interoperability this kind of community can only be a good thing for all of us.
I think the need for this community is already apparent! as Ben Rockwood already mentioned he was planning on writing documentation on LDAP and Kerberos. Well, we (Sun) have already done a little work in this area and I certainly do not want to see folk duplicate there efforts.
