thread..hehe...what cmd in Solaris10 displays the cdrom device
info.? Due to not getting x window to work yet, I'm doing it from
text. This would mean that the device is not mounting, as yet,
no..? Cheers.
What do you mean CD-ROM device info?
What are you trying to find out?
You might be able to determine the information from a simple:
prtconf
To get full configuration information use:
prtconf -v
Your CD-ROM drive should appear within that output somewhere,
although you may need to read it carefully.
