Well, in the first place, Jörg advocates his programs by publicly
exposing alleged bugs in other implementations, particularly GNU
implementations. Even when it turns out that the bugs actually
exist, it remains a questionable practice and is guaranteed to
upset people.
But it is greatly exaggerated to imply that Jörg, like Cassandra, is
condemned to tell the truth. Look at his "star matches the historical
tar interface behavior" claim just nearby for a clear example of the
contrary.

Actually I find attacks on the works of others at least as bad.
