The current Xorg CVS head has some AMD64 support for Solaris that I committed
a couple of months ago based on some experimental work done by Solaris
performance people - it hasn't had much testing, but at least builds and
starts a 64-bit X server. The big missing thing from Xorg is support for
building 32-bit & 64-bit libraries in the same tree, which I haven't had a
chance to commit (what we use inside Sun is Imake based, which is about to
become obsolete in Xorg's open source release as it moves from Imake to
autoconf).
