The Sun Privacy office has nixed the idea of bugster automatically exposing the e-mail address of every Sun employee who updates a bug report without any sort of filtering, opt-in, or opt-out. As far as I know they haven't been asked about allowing Sun employees to opt-in to exposing their e-mail addresses on an individual basis, and that seems hardly more objectionable than allowing Sun employees to subscribe and post to opensolaris.org mailing lists that expose their e-mail address. -- -Alan Coopersmith- alan.coopersm...@sun.com Sun Microsystems, Inc. - X Window System Engineering _______________________________________________ opensolaris-code mailing list opensolaris-code@opensolaris.org http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/opensolaris-code
