In all the nastiness, a complete answer to the original question was overlooked.
As Daneck noted, you can install the SUNWmfrun package from Sun. It may be that this package is out of date, and you should get source from http://www.ist-inc.com/DOWNLOADS/motif_download.html or http://www.motifzone.net/ I notice that there aren't Solaris packages distributed by ICS or IST, but it isn't too hard to build from source on Solaris. A package is better though. If the package definition file for the SUNWmfrun package is around, I'll see if I can find someone who can put an updated package on one of the third party Solaris package sites such as http://www.sunfreeware.com/ etc. This probably isn't the place to describe how to program with Motif. There are many excellent tutorials that will help you with that. I suggest that you get on some forums at motifzone and IST. --Dean On Tue, 23 Jun 2009, nitesh wrote: > Does motif library comes with open solaris .. or i need to install it > seperately.. > if it comes . how can i use it in my programs?? > -- Av8 Internet Prepared to pay a premium for better service? www.av8.net faster, more reliable, better service 617 344 9000 _______________________________________________ opensolaris-code mailing list opensolaris-code@opensolaris.org http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/opensolaris-code
