Yes, this only effects Mercurial.

Steve,
Does this only affect Mercurial? Will SVN support
continue as before?

We've been having serious stability issues with the OpenGrok webapp
serving the OpenSolaris Source Browser (http://src.opensolaris.org).
We started observing the failures about 2 months ago when we rolled
out support for indexing and searching the Mercurial project
repositories on opensolaris.org. These failures have escalated to
the point that we are seeing at least 3/4 failures per day that
require the webapp server (Tomcat, not the physical server) to be
restarted.
We have and will continue to investigate the cause of the issue, but
for now, the failures are causing us more overhead than we can
handle. We have been investigating the situation, but unfortunately
we don't currently have the resources to make this our top priority
and we can't allow the server failures to continue at the current
rate. Therefore, we will be backing out the support for
indexing/searching Mercurial repositories until such time when it is
deemed stable.
Just so I fully understand what we will have as a result.
There will still be an index of onnv-gate but not an indexing of
project created repositories such as zfs-crypto etc ? If so this
actually has an upside since those in are causing major confusing in
the current deployment anyway!
