Hi Jkeil, First I would like to make some things more clear. Initially my machine hung when I got the message Configuring Devices. But this is solved now by downgrading my BIOS (from v3.06 to v3.03) as I mentionned in another message some days ago. That's the reason why ata_common_id does not freeze.
At this moment my machine freezes after I select an Install option (for example 1. Solaris Interactive (Default) ). Consider I choose option 6. Single user shell I got the following message: Single user shell Searching for installed OS instances... (then my machine freezes) Thanks a lot jkeil. I really appreciate your efforts.
