I apologize for the lack of response on "help".  I'll pay closer
attention to build questions to make sure they get a response (though it
may take 1-2 business days).

As for using "code", I suppose the rules are a little fuzzy about which
forum to use.  And the idea of having a single "code" discussion
probably needs revisiting anyway, now that we've got area-specific
discussions (DTrace, ufs, nfs, etc.) and plans to add more
consolidations.  But questions like "did my build succeed" are basic
enough that they probably ought to go into "help", rather than "code".

Nope, I don't mind.  You might mention that the uid and gid that are
used (when the packaging information is missing) will depend on who does
the build.  So, come to think of it, the answer I gave you wasn't quite
right.  In the BFU archives that Sun provided, the uid and gid for those
files will be the ones I said in my earlier mail.  But since you're
building the archives yourself, those files will get *your* uid and gid.
