I will submit a patch for documentation later Your proposal of using a new command "chooseprocess ASID" is a good idea. Unfortunatly I have no time to work on it. Moreover there is still the problem of getting the ASID value of a process. For that I'm currently working on a Linux Awareness Patch, right now the features that are implemented are: -A PS like command that displays informations concerning the processes running(Name,PID,CPU...), including the ASID, -Sending thread info to GDB(like RTOS features)
I'm still working on this Linux awareness Patch, and It will be posted when finished and tested. -----Original Message----- From: Øyvind Harboe [mailto:oyvind.har...@zylin.com] Sent: Wednesday, August 31, 2011 10:15 AM To: Heythem BOUHAJA Cc: openocd-development@lists.berlios.de Subject: Re: [Openocd-development] [PATCH] Cortex_A context & hybrid breakpoints On Wed, Aug 31, 2011 at 10:11 AM, Heythem BOUHAJA <heythem.bouh...@stericsson.com> wrote: > Hi > > Thanks for the merge, and for correcting "cortex_a_hybrid_breakpoint". > No I didn't do an interactive rebase With an interactive rebase you can rewrite the changes to a series of logical patches, each taking one careful step forward... Could you submit a patch with documentation? Is there any way we could make these breakpoints work w/GDB? Perhaps "monitor chooseprocess 1234"? These breakpoints are used to debug specific CPUs or processes, right? -- Øyvind Harboe - Can Zylin Consulting help on your project?
