This happend with the older devices without "H". They run USB 2.0 Full
Speed, where many controllers only schedule with 1 ms slots. Connecting a
USB-2.0 High Speed hub, allows the mainboard controller to schedule at 125
usec steps and so sppeds things up.
For FT2232H/FT4232H and FT232H there should be no difference
