Hi, I've been absent from OpenOCD for a year or so. Trying to get back up to speed with all the changes that have been made.
I was wondering how to go about developing configs for a new Cortex A8 based cpu. I have a Spectrum Digital C6A816x EVM. This has ARM & DSP and is based on Cortex A8 but the DAP TAP ID is different from the existing Cortex A8 boards (dm355 dm37xx etc.) I've been using code composer to flash so far but it doesn't appear to be too good at doing low level debug of u-boot ELF file (source level debug is bad). Maybe it is me but I can't get it to do what I want and last time I used OpenOCD for such things I didn't have any problems so I'd like to work toward getting OpenOCD to work with this new TI chip. Anyone working on DM816x, C6A816x or AM389x? These are all in the same core family from what I understand.
