You really should be using the included scripts within openocd as they
do change - the luminary reset being one of them.
The cortex reset now honours the reset_config setting, before it was
ignored for luminary targets as they are broken when it comes to debug
reset.
The default stellaris.cfg also checks what resets are supported, so you
need to be calling that.
Having said that it should not crash, i will look into it.
