J-Link is not too expensive, especially the OEM ones from IAR or
other vendors which comes with the demo boards. We actually
got some for free last time (often the old V3 ones, recents ones
are V6) at work. But we still buy quite some original one
(Segger branded) because it is quite the standard here (IAR
EWARM + J-Link). Even for some other development which
do not use IAR (like Windows CE where you use the Platform
SDK), we still use J-Link as the flash tool.

But for personal use, J-Link may be not that cheap.
Of course there are many cheap clones on eBay but I think
they are illegal.
