Heh.  Yes, improvements in fault handling would be Good Things.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the ZY1000 is the main hardware we
currently support which can report those events.

XDS100 hardware [1] can do so too.  One of these days I'll be able
to watch that issue those events too.

    based JTAG.  Unfortunately the (zero cost) license for the
    schematics has strings that seem to preclude merging an OpenOCD
    driver handling those events.
