You mean the event gdb-detach? I'm using it to shutdown openocd when done debugging. In particular, I have a GUI and launch openocd on request; I find it cleaner (and easier) to shut down openocd into the hook instead of killing the process. > > The current default behavior when attaching GDB is to do > nothing. The hooks are interesting, even if the default action is to do nothing.
