I did a "git svn clone -s svn://svn.berlios.de/openocd" and it took over 97 minutes ... which is way too long. So I finally just set up a public clone, which is visible via gitweb at
http://openocd.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=openocd/openocd;a=summary There's a fairly ugly webpage at http://openocd.sourceforge.net/ which points to the Berlios site for everything except GIT. So now you too can have the advantages of using GIT ("git bisect", complete local history, gitk local browsing, etc) without any SVN hassles. Enjoy! I'd like volunteers to help run that mirror; you'd need an account on SourceForge. There are surely other things to do with that project too; improved webpage, better Trove categories for OS support, etc. Do you know the best way to get the SVN branches into that GIT tree? Yes, Berlios can do GIT now too; but I think having a mirror on a different continent is probably a good idea. - Dave _______________________________________________ Openocd-development mailing list Openocd-development@lists.berlios.de https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/openocd-development
