I *HIGHLY* recommend the following approach:

- generate a .txt file
- have users email that .txt file as an attachment to an email
address using an email program of their choice


I believe adding code in OpenOCD to talk directly to the internet
would be a Bad Idea because firewalls will stop a huge audience
from reporting. These firewalls are paranoid about everything:
HTTP, SMTP, ftp, etc. You name it! :-)

Better a smaller more representative sampling than a huge
skewed one.

The ZY1000 web interface uses a similar approach:

- genereate a page with lots of info
- users copy & paste that information into an email sent to
supp...@zylin.com

Previously we had some more fancy scheme that used
a HTTP POST directly to www.zylin.com, but that turned
out to be a non-starter.
