Can this chip actually override its endianness?
If not, I suggest removing that...
I think it's counterproductive to support that
particular idiom except on those rare chips
where the endianness *CAN* change. The default
in OpenOCD is little endian.
Hmm ... I'll send some relevant patches along
soonish.
