Zach is doing a *great* job of adressing a raft of security,
warning, etc. and general clean up.

This causes the code base to change a *lot* these
last couple of days.

However, I just *can't* imagine that Zach will be able to
keep up a flurry of sensible tweaks to the code for
much more than a week or so.

Consider a sign put set up that says: "Zach's refurbishing the
code and he applogizes for the inconveniece that this causes.
OpenOCD will reopen soon and we believe that you will all
agree afterwards that it was worth the temporary inconvenience."

:-)

Any patches that got marooned can hopefullyt  be applied and merged
three ways once the dust settles...
