Dear,

I've purchased a Primer2 device (http://www.stm32circle.com/) but not
before finding out that it only supports Serial Wire Debug (SWD) and not
"normal" JTAG.
After some browsing around, it seems OpenOCD doesn't support SWD (yet).
I did find the following quote:

>SWD is definitely a post-1.0 priority.

What's the status at the moment? What kind of work needs to be done?

Also, as far as I understand, the Primer1/2 have a build-in minimalistic
RLINK debugger to connect to it. How does OpenOCD work with RLINK? Is
the protocol over USB proprietary and reverse engineered or is there an
API available or something? Would any changes be needed here?

If RLINK isn't going to work for some reason, I have a ULINK (not
suitable as no SWD support afaik) and a LM3S811 dev board that I can use
as JTAG interface. I'm willing to solder on the Primer2 PCB to add
straps or stuff to be able to use JTAG/SWD (possibly to an extension board).

Thanks,

Ronald
