OpenOCD no longer requires "-f tcl/command.tcl" on the command line.
Instead, it quietly does that on its own.

I presume you agree that some type of script or macro language would be 
beneficial to OpenOCD.
By language - I mean: something with a IF and FOR loops,

If not TCL then what language?

That script/macro language over time - would develop a bunch of helper 
functions/macros would it not?

If so - where would you suggest those be placed?
