What you could do is set up different polling packages with different filter
rules.
Then you could set something via the importer like the nodeLabel (I am
currently adding the ability to set assetRecord fields like pollCategory)
maybe make the nodeLabel end with -production when they are in production
and setup filter rules that match on the nodeLabel
Then you can change the way you do polling, collection, thresholding and
notification based on whether they match the filter.
