Hello Sebastian,
i thought to the same, maybe i changed something that lid to the error,
so i jusn checkout new clean - svn checkout
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/openmeetings/branches/2.0/
right now and i get the same problem.
when i say system crash i mean that i cant use any more the red5
openmeetings until i'm processing -

at /usr/lib/red5/webapps/openmeetings/WEB-INF/classes/META-INF customize
the persistence.xml
according to -
https://cwiki.apache.org/OPENMEETINGS/tutorials-related-to-openmeetings.data/Installing%20OM2.x%20On%20Ubuntu64%20-%20Headless.pdf
and then command
chown -R nobody /usr/lib/red5
chmod +x /usr/lib/red5/red5.sh
chmod +x /usr/lib/red5/red5-debug.sh
