Let me add a few more symptoms and clues I had installed the binary build dated 07-11 but had not blown away the mysql db first. That all worked fine except i noticed that when I went to administration >> Users On the users admin page I had an issue with what appeared to be a missing field. The field that is supposed to be Server Details had a 1250 error whcih i believe may be a mysql missing field error, more or less.
So today I blew away the mysql db deleted the install.xml and redid the web based install NOW----- ON the machine running openmeetings i can do an http://localhost:5080/openmeetings and I can enter all of the rooms. On any other machine I cannot enter any of the public rooms So I went back and got the binary build from 7-15 , blew away the mysql and did the web based install again Still have the same new problem. I can only enter my own rooms. When I try to enter any of the Public rooms it turns the browser into a stone. you can try my setup at http://openmeeting.learnubuntu.org:5080/openmeetings I am not sure if this is part of the ongoing flash issue or a new one. I tried this also on an IE winblows machine and that seems to get one step further but still hangs. On my Ubuntu 11.04 in both Chrome and Firefox when you click on the button to open a public room it hangs, the room never gets to open. On the IE machine it open the room but hangs before the dialog opens to test the web cam Arrrrrgggggghghhhhhh oh well :) -- Ubuntu-Head Tom Judge Ubuntu Head Look for us on the web: http://learnubuntu.org http://youtube.com/learnubuntunow http://twitter.com/#!/learnubuntu http://facebook.com/tvjudge Skype Learnubuntu On Mon, 2012-07-16 at 16:46 -0400, Tom Judge wrote: > Hi: > > I just installed the latest build binaries from the Jenkins site.
