Yes, that is the behaviour that I expect you will see. Creating a calendar event in your calendar only creates the event, and you can log into the room from "My rooms", but the invited attendees only get an invitation email, not an OpenMeeting's calendar item. Also before the meeting starts, the event's room will not be visible to their "My rooms" either. I am not sure but I believe the event's room is visible in their "My rooms" once they have logged in (and out), and it is during the event's scheduled meeting time.
