Yes, I have tried zooming in, but zooming in just high lights that the
actual conversion is of poor quality, looks to be around 200dpi, where
400dpi or 600dpi would be preferred.

Most of our documents or slides contain images, which once converted
have far less quality than the original PowerPoint Slide or Word
Document when viewed on the computers screen. Particularly any text in
the images is not quite readable.

Thanks,

George Kirkham

Have you tried zooming in? Top right hand corner is the zoom slide bar,
I've not seen any poor conversions in my setup to be honest.

Is there a way I can improve the quality of converted PDF, Word
or PowerPoint files which are uploaded to OpenMeetings for the
Whiteboard. That is increase the resolution of the conversion process?

I believe Word PDF and PowerPoint files are converted to *.swf
files.

Currently the quality of any images within these documents is so
poor that we cannot clearly read the text within images contained in
the uploaded PDF, Word or PowerPoint files.

        Using: Debian Linux server,
openmeetings-2.0.0.r1328537-20-04-2012_2319.tar.gz (Build #43)
