That would be my suggestion, too. 
I also think that's the advantage of the release train model. Either it fits in 
on time, or it doesn't (which is not a bad thing). 
And usually there is no rush.

https://github.com/openjdk/jfx/pull/2175 or 
https://github.com/openjdk/jfx/pull/2167 right before RDP1 either)
