If I wanted to create a custom USB text-install image with a few additional tools in the installer's boot environment, is it as simple as customizing <base_include> items in the <boot_archive_contents> section of the install I wish to customize?
If I get it correctly boot environment is the boot archive plus /usr and /mnt mounted off media. Just checked out my XML manifest and it looks like it is enough to add/delete <base_include> items in <boot_archive_contents> node.
BTW must admit that doing zfs snapshot between consecutive steps of distro_const saves a lot pain and makes the process flexible to
customize and tweak. Mariusz _______________________________________________ openindiana-discuss mailing list [email protected] https://openindiana.org/mailman/listinfo/openindiana-discuss
