Yesterday I managed to upgrade the system. I will use it today and if nothing will happen, then probably there was something wrog with the OS. Otherwise, the hardware is definitely faulty. Regards,A.S.

Can anybody enlighten me a bit? > Regards, anon_decref() is called in a number of places in the virtual memory system when it is releasing a reference to an anonymous page (a page that isn't part of a named filesystem object). These pages are reference counted (as they may be shared between processes due to a fork()); panic("anon_decref: slot count 0") is called when the page being dereferenced already has a reference count of zero. This could be due to memory corruption due to bad memory or a misbehaving CPU, or it could be a software bug, but I'd expect to see a range of panics if it's a hardware problem. Getting more of the panic stack trace would possibly be informative (it could help narrow down the context and possible contributing factors..). _______________________________________________ openindiana-discuss mailing list openindiana-discuss@openindiana.org https://openindiana.org/mailman/listinfo/openindiana-discuss
