Hi,
Despite configuring the Timezone and Locale for the UK thunderbird
always displayed the date in US format MM/DD/YYYY instead of DD/MM/YYYY
Today I found an article on how to add an override to Thunderbird to
display in UK format, however I prefer ISO Date format YYYY:MM:DD.
So if you are interested in knowing how, use the config editor in
thunderbird to add the following entries, I added the time format as
well just in case.
intl.date_time.pattern_override.date_short
yyyy:MM:dd type string
intl.date_time.pattern_override.date_medium type boolean
intl.date_time.pattern_override.date_long type boolean
intl.date_time.pattern_override.date_full type boolean
intl.date_time.pattern_override.time_short
HH:mm type string
intl.date_time.pattern_override.time_medium type boolean
intl.date_time.pattern_override.time_long type boolean
intl.date_time.pattern_override.time_full type boolean
After adding the entries, restart thunderbird
