I am interested to replace the xscreensaver with the mate-screensaver. Our Xscreensaver is quite old and the current will not work out of the box. On Xscreensaver the PAM code was patched to use BSM even so it supports Solaris. mate-screensaver compiles on OI.
mate-screensaver PAM code is reworked but I seems it will not work on Illumos. Solaris support seems to be removed. Is anyone already working on this?
