The text-install on the NL40 went quite well. I repartitioned the disks, created a new RAIDZ2 pool, installed into an existing pool and then created dump and swap.
I'm currently installing S11.4, but I don't think it will let me have a RAIDZ2 root pool. I created one, but I think it is getting stomped on. That's an argument for using my s0 & s1 arrangement. We'll see. New systems usually take me several days to work out how to get what I want. So it might work now. But I have not yet seen any installation with RAIDZ2 as root it's quite rare. -Till On 19.04.21 18:23, Reginald Beardsley via openindiana-discuss wrote: > I did an install of 2020.10 from a text USB stick on an HP NL40 with a 4x 2 > TB RAIDZ2 root pool this morning without any issues. > > My Z840 showed up and things have not gone well.
