I don't know, but then I do it differently. I did the install a long time ago. Since then, I've been doing updates. The second last update was from hipster-20180701 to hipster-20200802 . With that one, the dialogue box within firefox did not show my CUPS queue. Before that, it had `print to lpr', which I now understand got removed. My last update was from hipster-20200802 to hipster-20201012 . Nothing changed in firefox with that one. Since I installed those two packages, the print dialogue showed my CUPS printer and pre-selected it.
