Correct me if I'm wrong, but Illumos ZFS doesn't magically put
the boot code with zpool replace.
man installgrub
installgrub /boot/grub/stage1 /boot/grub/stage2 /dev/rdsk/<whatever>
should take like one second and can be done before, after, or during the
resilver.
